Name: Chanyapak Srisman (Bella)

Position: Programmatic Strategist

How would you describe your internship experience at Bidmath: It was such a meaningful experience, Bidmath was my first internship ever and before this I had no idea of what the work culture would be like. I gained a lot of sense of what professionalism is by training here and that has allowed me to prepare myself for the real professional world. Moreover, as a media student, I was very fascinated by the idea of programmatic advertising, which was the topic for my research paper as well. By joining BidMath as a trainee, I have gained a deeper understanding of how programmatic advertising works and most of its elements. I was grateful for the opportunity and I really enjoy working with the BidMath teams which are full of brilliant, open-minded, and friendly people. The workplace environment here has made my internship experience very enjoyable and is something that I love most about this company.

What was the main reason behind your decision to join : After my internship ended, I realised that I would love to fully become part of the team because I had such a wonderful experience working as an intern at BidMath. As a freshly-graduated, the opportunity to work with many well-known global brands is something very exciting and precious for me, plus with the fact that I find the working environment here very nice, those factors have really influenced my decision to join BidMath.

What are the key things that you learned during the process : I learned that it is important to ask questions. Whenever you have something you’re not sure of that needs more explanation, don’t be afraid to ask questions from someone who knows. It will make the process easier and clearer. I also learned that observation will help you learn something faster. In the first month I joined the company, I observed and learned from every meeting so when I am assigned to tasks like that, I immediately know where to begin.

  1. What is your job and which city do you work in?                                                              I am based in Bangkok which is the APAC Programmatic Hub, working as a programmatic strategist. My job mainly involves data gathering and the planning of programmatic campaigns which I work alongside with other teams. I am also responsible for overall client support.
  2. What inspires you?
The desire to be the better version of myself and to become successful! I always want to face challenging tasks in order to improve myself and keep my energy towards something productive. I believe that it is very important to have a goal in everything you do because that will keep pushing you forwards.
  3. If you were a crayon what colour would you be?
    Baby Blue, it’s so cute!
  4. If you could fly to any destination, which one would it be?
I would love to go to Paris, I have not been there yet so it’s on the top of my list. Personally, I feel like the city has so many beautiful architecture and very famous tourist attractions. It’s named one of the most beautiful cities in the world as well so I definitely have to fly there.
  5. If you could pick one superpower what would it be?
Seeing the future, I think that would be such an advantage since you would know what will happen and you can either change, prepare or even control it.
  6. What is your favourite sport?
Swimming, I think it’s the only sport that I do best. But I really do enjoy watching motorsports like car racing. I’d say I’m not a big fan of sports, I’d prefer to just exercise to keep myself healthy.
  7. Tell us your secret talent?
I can dance really well, I was part of my university’s dance team!
  8. Favorite movie?
All Harry Potter movies! I can basically quote almost every line from the films and I have rewatched them like more than a thousand times.

  10. Favourite places you have ever visited?
It has to be Six Flag Magic Mountain, I am a big fan of scary roller coaster rides and that place has all the real deal! It is still my most favorite amusement park until today. I remember going on this drop tower at the park, which was the tallest one in the world at that time, it was just an amazing and thrilling experience for me.
  11. Outside of the office, what can we find you doing?
Chilling at a park with my friends or dining at a restaurant and chilling at a bar. I love to spend time with the people I am close with whenever I have the chance because it’s nice to constantly keep in touch with those who are important to you and it’s also very relaxing!.
